HF Amplifiers

GEMINI DX1200 and HF-1K

Solid State 1kW+ output amplifiers share the same deisgn format of the rest of the GEMINI range with an all aluminium chassis and integral power supply. Auto band selection, multiple antenna outputs and has full QSK capability.

CHALLENGER /PIONEER

Valve HF amplifiers were built on a CNC cut and folded steel chassis that was rigid and hard wearing. The front panel was bolted directly to the front of the chassis.

A UK manufactured toroidal transformer was bolted straight to the chassis using a strengthened support to allow transportation without risk of damage.

Valves used were either 8877 , GS35B or 572B's depending on model.

A carefully designed and individually optimised input matching board ensured low VSWR on all bands from 160m through to 10m including the WARC bands.

All amplifiers were designed and hand crafted here in the UK using locally sourced materials wherever possible and come with a 1 year warranty on the tube and a TWO YEAR WARRANTY on the amplifier.

Every amplifier was hand tested on every band and  burnt in overnight at full output to ensure it left ready to perform and keep performing.
